TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
